Legality of repeaters
In most countries the use of cellular repeaters is completely legal. In others, usage is allowed only with the permission of the cellular network. It is the responsibility of the customer, and not Repeaterstore, to comply with local laws and regulations.
UK and OFCOM
In the UK the frequencies that these repeaters operate on are licensed and owned by the relevant cellular networks. According to an OFCOM ruling to use a cellular repeater you require the permission of your cellular network. Often this can take a little time, as not many of the people working in customer service will be familiar with the technology. However, we find that with at least 3 of the 4 major carriers our customers have managed to get permission.
